Zumper

Tech-powered rental marketplace showcasing innovation with a 20x30 exhibit

About Zumper

Zumper is one of the fastest-growing rental marketplaces in the U.S., powered by AI to simplify the apartment-hunting process. Their platform connects millions of renters with apartments, condos, and houses each month while helping property managers market units with advanced digital tools and analytics.

“This was our best booth design to date. The space supported demos, presentations, and client meetings while giving us an activation that kept the booth busy throughout the show.” — Zumper Marketing Team

The Request

For NAA 2025, Zumper wanted a 20×30 rental exhibit that would position them as a technology leader. Their past experience left them frustrated: outdated graphics, unreliable AV, and poor communication that affected their show presence. They needed a partner who could provide reliability and transparency while creating an exhibit that reflected their brand and supported confident interactions with attendees.

The stakes were high. NAA is a premier event for property management and multifamily housing, bringing together thousands of decision-makers. Zumper’s goal was to educate attendees on their platform through live demos and create a central stage for CEO presentations that would leave no doubt about their innovation and leadership in the industry.

The Solution

Apple Rock delivered a 20×30 rental exhibit around visibility, technology, and attendee engagement. A 16-foot tower carried Zumper branding across the hall, supported by edge lighting that reinforced the modern look. The open layout, accessible from multiple entry points, invited attendees to step inside without hesitation.

Four interactive demo stations lined the perimeter, each equipped with 32” monitors, wireless keyboards, and dedicated internet for seamless software demonstrations. At the heart of the space, a multipurpose theater served as the CEO’s presentation area and a semi-private meeting room for client conversations. Seating and a presenter’s station supported both formal presentations and informal conversations.

For engagement, Zumper partnered with an activation company that provided aura photography, where attendees could see and take home their “aura colors.” This interactive element became a highlight and created steady booth traffic. Natural wood accents and greenery balanced the tech-driven design, while hidden storage kept the space organized throughout the show.

The Results

Zumper reported that this was their best booth design to date. Demo stations stayed active, the CEO’s theater session was well-attended, and the aura activation consistently attracted interest. The upgraded AV and internet ensured presentations and demos ran smoothly, while the semi-private meeting room supported focused client discussions.

The design combined technology, engagement, and practical details into an exhibit that gave Zumper a strong presence at NAA 2025 and a reliable environment for their team.

Most importantly, Zumper felt proud of their presence. The exhibit gave them the professional, polished environment they needed to engage prospects, impress peers, and confidently claim their place as an industry innovator.
