The Request

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies attends multiple shows each year across the globe, each with a unique audience, venue, and footprint. They needed an exhibit that could deliver maximum impact on a 20×30 floor plan but still scale down smoothly for smaller regional events. Flexibility was key, but it wasn’t the only requirement.

The team envisioned something striking and modern—a presence that would immediately communicate innovation, professionalism, and brand authority. Their goals included bold branding, clear messaging, partner engagement areas, and a layout designed for open, non-private meetings.

They wanted a space that felt high-tech and visually brilliant, with texture, light, and movement working together to elevate their presence. This new exhibit had to do it all: attract attention, spark conversation, and reflect the sophistication of their global biotech brand without compromise.

The Solution

Apple Rock’s team designed a 20×30 exhibit that delivered bold visual impact without sacrificing functionality or flow. Every detail served a purpose, from the layered LED-lit panels overhead to the inviting layout that encouraged movement and interaction.

At the heart of the design was a suspended ceiling element that became the exhibit’s signature. Five horizontal plexi panels floated above the space, edge-lit to create a glowing layered effect. The clean geometry and light diffusion added structure and sophistication—core traits of the FUJIFILM Biotechnologies brand.

Flanking the space were two towering graphic walls, featuring vibrant visuals tied to key service areas like cell culture and gene therapy. These acted as branded beacons while subtly guiding traffic into the open center.

To support engagement, Apple Rock integrated two sleek partner stations with monitors: ideal for conversations and demos. Functional display counters offered space for literature and interaction, while built-in storage was concealed in smart, textural detailing that added depth to the space.

Most importantly, the entire exhibit was designed to scale. With a modular structure and interchangeable components, it can reconfigure into a 20×20, 10×20, or 10×10 ensuring consistency across global events while keeping logistics streamlined.

This wasn’t just a booth. It was a versatile, high-tech brand platform built to perform anywhere FUJIFILM Biotechnologies needed to make an impression.

The Results

The finished exhibit didn’t just light up the show floor—it glowed from every angle like a beacon, drawing attendees in with a sense of energy and innovation. The layered, edge-lit panels suspended overhead created a visual rhythm that stopped people mid-aisle. Strategic lighting and vibrant graphics worked in sync to make the space feel both expansive and inviting.
