Eric Burg, president of Apple Rock Displays, spent the past several days attending Exhibitor2013 in Las Vegas, the world’s largest trade show devoted to trade shows. Below are Eric’s comments and observations from the show floor:
Apparently, a river of creative juices has been flowing through the trade show marketing community in preparation for #Exhibitor2013. From the floor of the convention center in Las Vegas, it was apparent that exhibitors pulled out all the stops to position their product top-of-mind with busy convention goers.
There were hundreds of creative and innovative new ideas on display, as well as 43 products entered into competition for the coveted Buyer’s Choice Award.
Some of the new things we saw include: a razor-thin, bendable, slate tile floor; software that turns any logo into a hologram, and an LED light fixture that uses a sleek arm to spread a beam of light evenly over an entire surface.
While technology was a highlight at this year’s show, it’s just one element of success when designing a trade show booth or display. Apple Rock’s custom designs incorporate the latest technology to compliment our award winning designs. Our engineering expertise allows us to provide solutions that other custom houses can’t figure out … or match. In short, we offer the full package.
While exact attendance numbers are still out, traffic at Exhibitor2013 was strong and response to our design and new interactive products has been “unbelievable.” It’s an exciting time to be part of this industry.
